Community Thanksgiving!

Thursday, November 27th | Free Meal Served 12pm-2pm

We are excited to share that we will be hosting our 2nd Annual Community Thanksgiving on Thanksgiving Day this year! We are inviting the community into our church to share in a free meal featuring a delicious baked spiral ham, all of your favorite side dishes, and plenty of pumpkin + apple pie.

We know there are many individuals and families who don’t have a place to have a warm meal on Thanksgiving and we don’t want anyone to be alone. We would love for you to join us as we share in a Thanksgiving meal as a church community! Please bring your family and invite your friends and neighbors – everyone is welcome!

There is so much to be thankful for and we are excited to show God’s love to our community this Thanksgiving!

Who We Are

At First B, we are committed to passionately pursuing Jesus and living out His greatest commandment as our mission: Love God and Love People (Matthew 22:37-39). Our deepest desire is to see God build us into a community that glorifies Him and loves others in grace and compassion.

We express our love for God by dedicating ourselves to a daily lifestyle of worship (Romans 12:1), and striving to grow to maturity in our relationship with Him (Ephesians 4:13-16).

Our love for others is demonstrated through our focus on serving others with the love of Christ (1 Peter 4:10), and sharing the life changing news of God’s love for us through sending His Son Jesus in accordance with the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20 and Acts 1:8).

Join us on this mission as we seek to make much of Jesus and positively impact in our community and beyond!

God’s people were in tough and overpowered. They found themselves scattered and lost. Their city was destroyed and in complete ruin. All seemed hopeless.

ENTER THE GOD WHO RESTORES.

Join us as we encounter the greatness of our God as He uses Nehemiah to accomplish the impossible mission of restoring His people and rebuilding the walls of His city. This is an amazing story of God’s love and faithfulness to His people … BUT … the truths of Nehemiah aren’t confined to thousands of years ago. In fact, the main heart beat of the book is to point us to the God who continues to specialize in restoring broken realities through His Ultimate Servant Jesus Christ. God’s people may find themselves down but they can never be counted out because God is on our side … and with Him there is always hope!!
